Throwback Thursday is a good day to look back and celebrate the life of our favorite artists by looking at a different era from their lives. Today we are looking at one of Eswatini’s best, Sandziso ‘Sands’ Matsebula.
He is arguably one of the artists who made singing in vernacular popular and a lot of people fell inlove with his music especially non-swazi’s who found the siSwati language sexy.
After the release of Sands of Time, a love soaked afro soul album in 2017 with Tigi becoming everyone’s fave song, Sands became the most watched and sought after talent of the moment. The super entertaining, lively and rhythmic Tigi became a sing-a-long anthem.
