On a recent post on Instagram, our very own artist and song writer Nomzamo Dlamini revealed that her paternal grand mom was Zulu from Nkandla. The songstress posted a beautiful snap of herself in a colorful shweshwe printed top and a red Zulu ischolo over her head completing her beauty. She went on to express how adorning that ischolo warmed her heart as it made her feel closer to her grandmother.

“My paternal grandmother was Zulu and born in Enkandla so wearing this hat for the first time today really warmed my heart….” she captioned her lovely pic

She’s one person who has made it clear through her music, her words and dress code that she embraces culture and we are super proud of her because she’s such a rare gem.
