Hey, gospel music lovers – this one’s for you! Swaziland’s own Zamar Mabuza has scored a massive nomination at the 2024 MGOMA Gospel Awards, and we’re all so pumped for him. His song Sikwetfesumchele is in the running for “Best of Africa Song of the Year,” and honestly, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving artist.
He’s asked his fans (that’s us!) for support, especially those in South Africa, to help him bring this award home. All you need to do to vote is SMS “Africa Song – Sikwetfesumchele ” to 34155 (it costs R2 per SMS). Voting ends on December 6, so don’t wait – every vote counts, and you know Zamar would be over the moon with our support!
The big night is happening on December 8 at Communio Mbombela, and we’re hoping to hear Africa Song announced as the winner.
