22 April 2022, Mbabane – The Epic Gig Episode III today announced the Top 10 artists to perform on The Freshman stage on 25 June this year. The Freshman stage is aimed at performers who have launched their careers in the last four years and are fresh talent in Eswatini.

Each of these artists went through a selection process where they were asked to post their content on social media tagging The Epic Gig Episode III social media handles to stand a chance of being selected. The videos posted had to be between 30 and 60 seconds long showing off DJing, freestyling or vocal skills. The public also added their voice by liking the content posted. Tammy Dlamini, The Epic Gig Episode III event organizer gave his view of the results and what fans can expect on 25 June, “As we have previously mentioned, The Epic Gig Episode III will have two stages this year.
We will have the main stage which will feature the artists we announced in our phase 1 line up and then a separate stage especially for our Feshman to showcase who they are. We are glad to have been exposed to such amazing talent from around our country. The entries have been overwhelming but unfortunately our panel could only select 10. We have chosen a mix of artists who we know can entertain our crowd on the day.” Tickets for The Epic Gig Episode III can be bought online at Computicket, Shoprite, all Galito’s, Pizza Inn and Chicken Inn outlets nationwide, as well as Movie Zone at The Gables. Eswatini can also look forward to a number of The Epic Gig Episode III pop up’s which will take place at selected venues around Eswatini.
Both tickets and merchandise will be on sale at these activations. As was previously communicated a general access ticket costs E300, VIP E500 and VVIP E10 000. The VVIP experience includes a platter, mixers, two bottles of either gin, whiskey or brandy and a lounge from which the VVIP guests can enjoy all the main acts the day has to offer. More updates on the Feshman which were announced can be found on social media leading up to 25 June, the day The Epic Gig Episode III will be happening. Followers can look forward to profiles of the artists which have been selected being featured at intervals while also getting to hear some of what they have to offer. Phase two of The Epic Gig Episode III lineup will be announced in the 1st week of May.
