Somizi Mhlongo’s career took a severe hit after the abuse allegations against him surfaced. In August, audio clips between his estranged husband Mohale Motaung and the producers of Living the Dream with Somizi were leaked. In the audio clips, Mohale claimed Somizi physically and psychologically abused him.
The media personality reportedly scored a gig to host a new dating show on Moja Love titled Lovey Dovey.
The show is reportedly set to premiere in February. Moja Love CEO Aubrey says that the channel had been receiving multiple calls from viewers asking the channel to bring Somizi on board. He added that Moja Love does not condone violence but are giving Somizi a “second chance.
