Season 3 of MTN Spotlight is getting tougher and tougher and only one contestant will be the winner at the end. Sunday’s episode of Idols SA was full of disappointment for a few as the top 20 became the top 15.
The contestants have a stellar panel of judges to impress weekly, consisting of Velemseni Ndzimandze, Ndumiso Dlamini, Khulekani Mamba and last night they were joined by guest judge soul singer, Symphony.
Last night’s episode was unlike any other as this time around contestants performed along with a band. Khulekni was not impressed with yesterday’s performances, he felt the contestants’ did not give their all. “the energy was not exciting as it should be, but I hope next week it be better”. He said. At this point the judges scores and the audience will have all the say in who stays and who goes through the next stage.
