Nobuhle Dlamini is on a roll, the starlet has been announced as SuperSport’s Let’s Play newest Ambassador.
The Eswatini-born professional golfer’s role as ambassador will be to promote the work done through the Let’s Play initiative and encourage primary school learners to embrace physical education as an important way of life. She follows in the footsteps of previous ambassadors such as Jean de Villiers and Graeme Smith.
According to Gideon Khobane, Chief Executive Officer of SuperSport. “Nobuhle has an inspiring story to tell. Encouraged by her late father, a self-taught golfer who started as a caddie and eventually qualified for the European golf teaching diploma, Nobuhle has risen through the ranks due to hard work, determination and perseverance. Her drive to succeed makes her the ideal role model for young, aspirant sports stars – especially young girls.”
Nobuhle is a regular on the Sunshine Ladies Tour and is ranked fifth in South Africa. Since turning professional in 2014, her rise in the Tour rankings has been steady and consistent with 2019 being her best year to date as she racked up five wins. MultiChoice will be giving Dlamini marketing and financial assistance when she competes in the Ladies European Tour.
Well done Nkhosi, we are proud of you.
