In giving back to society, Status Capital Building Society has decided to be the anchor sponsor for this year’s 4th Edition of the annual event. Status Capital Building Society is a financial services provider in Eswatini known for its innovative and superior customer offerings for its members. The effort by Status Capital Building Society is to thrust Eswatini Art at the forefront of Africa’s entertainment scene.
The sponsorship is estimated to be valued at around E40 000, and is inclusive of production costs, marketing and performance fees of the Headline performer as artists are the main beneficiaries of the event this year with the official Africa Day theme being ARTS , Culture and Heritage : Levers For Building the Africa we Want.
The Africa Day Eswatini hosts, African Women’s Peace and Development Foundation (AWPDF) have also launched a guess the artist campaign where followers are expected to guess which local artist will be the headline act and stand a chance to win 2 tickets to celebrate Africa day in style.
The mystery artist will render a 25 minutes live performance with a live band of exclusive new music. Another artist to bless us with her serenading voice on the day is none other than Ntando Dlamini who goes by her stage name Sarnilo.
There will also be Fine arts exhibition featuring local artists Phillis Gumede(PhillzArt) and 18 year old Andie Simelane aka Lum De artist and a lot of other exciting activities on the day.
