It’s that time of the year again when we get to vote for our favorite television stars and programs that keep us glued to our screens. The 11th South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) are set to take place next month on the 16th-18th March at Sun City in the North West and the theme for this year is “SA has got it, let’s celebrate it”.
Well, yesterday the nominees were announced and as expected, there were many surprises and disappointments. For the second time Muvhango and Skeem Saam boycotted the awards, as they didn’t submit their work for consideration.
