Local artists Sands and Velemseni are set to perform at the first of its kind FNB Africa Day Concert.
Sands, whose real name is Sandziso Matsebula is an award-winning Afro-pop singer and Eswatini’s golden whose music journey began in high school. He rose to fame through his international hit single “Tigi”.
Velemseni Ndzimandze also started singing at an early age. she is a singer/songwriter who expresses cinematic sounds that reflect swazi culture & aesthetic. Genre dables in jazz, Neo-Soul & alt. afro-pop. Both artists will feature in Africa Day Concert 2021, which will be hosted by First National Bank Namibia this Africa Day, 25th of May.
The aim of this event is to celebrate African unity, diversity and talent. The concert will bring artists from Namibia , Ghana, Eswatini, Lesotho and Botswana to the living rooms of thousands of people across the continent.
The concert will be hosted virtually in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It is free for streaming on the FNB Namibia Facebook page, Youtube channel or on One Africa TV on 25 May from 16h00(CAT).
