The news, shared on 14 April 2025 through a statement by Dube Connection Enterprise, has stirred emotions across the gospel music community.
Rev. Dube’s voice and spirit have been at the heart of Spirit of Praise for years, guiding millions through worship, hope, and healing. This decision, he shared, wasn’t made lightly. Spirit of Praise has been a big part of his life, but now, he’s being called into a new season—one that will allow him to focus more deeply on his personal ministry, mentor the next generation of gospel artists, and explore new projects rooted in purpose.
With sincere gratitude, he thanked Spirit Music Group, the entire Spirit of Praise team, and founders Aubrey Peacock and Matthew Nkabinde for their years of collaboration and love.
