Oxygen JL is a rapper with a fascinating ability to paint vivid pictures with words. He has skillfully – mastered the art of illustrating imagery, laced in poetic verses that evoke emotions as he invites you to his lyrical world. Oxygen released his debut album titled “I Was Here” featuring Zoë Genesis and Yemaa.
The MTN Spotlight finalist, born Madoda Nsibandze, Oxygen JL AKA Junior Longfeather is a hip-hop lyricist, performer, and composer from Eswatini. Oxygen was born into a musical family, having both parents founding and conducting the award-winning Melodious Voices Choral music choir. From the age of 6, Oxygen learnt the cores of music composition. From this skill, Oxygen has gone on to render Vocal Director services for performances on major stages like the FNB Smoothfest and the 2018 MTN SWAMA awards.
