A few days ago, we lost one of the greatest actors of our time. Menzi Ngubane passed away at his Ladysmith Home in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday following complications from a stroke. As someone who touched many people courtesy of his career, a lot of mourners would love to go pay their last respect as he get laid to rest.

Sadly because of Covid-19 many of those who wished to attend his funeral wont make it. As we are on Coronavirus Alert Level 1, the maximum number of people allowed at any gathering is 100 people indoors or 250 people outdoors. Night vigils and any other gatherings before or after funerals are still not permitted. This has forced many families to resort to virtual funerals, so that those who couldn’t attend can at least view the proceedings online.

The award winning veteran actor, will be buried this coming Saturday, (20th March 2020) in Ladysmith. Close friends and family will attend a closed funeral for the departed star. There will also be a virtual arrangement for Ngubane’s funeral, for those who won’t be able to make it. The proceedings will be shared on Live Stream, and the link will be communicated at a later stage.
