Most people might ask for expensive gifts and glamorous parties for their birthdays, but all Illa Penboy wanted to do was to spend his day doing what he does best, helping the needy.
The rapper, events organizer, and philanthropist turned 31 years today, August 2, 2021, and decided to celebrate it with kids from different care points.
Illa has done remarkable work all over Eswatini by donating and assisting the less fortunate. This journey started out with his campaign #donateabread when COVID-19 broke out in 2020. His goal was to help people who could not access food during the lockdown, entirely unaware that the campaign was the beginning of greater work.
The star took to social media to share with his fans how his day went, and WOW!!, Illa is truly Godsent.
“?HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME……..FOR THE LOVE OF KIDS, I’VE DECIDED TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY BY FEEDING 200 KIDS TODAY. NO CHILD MUST GO TO SLEEP ON AN EMPTY STOMACH”. he wrote.
