It seems as though Vuyo Dabula has taken a U-turn on his decision to leave SABC 1’s hit television series Generations: The Legacy. His regret stems from the fact that there will no longer be Queen Sono Season 2. Just last week, it was confirmed that Season 2 of the First African Netflix Series has been cancelled due to Covid-19 related challenges.

Fans were left disappointed after Vuyo Dabula who plays Gadaffi on Generations: The Legacy confirmed that he would be leaving the show. He told Daily Sun “It is what it is” when asked to confirm the news.

The producers had given him an ultimatum and asked him to choose between the Soapie and Queen Sono He, of course chose Queen Sono, but a thunderbolt had been dropped on him when he was informed that the Netflix series would no longer continue.

Now, his tone has changed to a very shocking “I am not leaving the show,” when he was asked to confirm the recent rumours. An unnamed source however has told Daily Sun that producers of the show could not care less about Vuyo’s sudden change of mind, saying they battled to come up with ‘an exit story’ in a very short space of time.
