Those who have dogs will tell you that it is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. Some say that dogs don’t live as long because we’re on earth long enough to learn unconditional love, to forgive & forget and to be loyal & kind.
A lot of people can without a doubt attest to this, and they treat their pet dogs as family. Unfortunately though, some times they get do sick, and in some instances die, causing unbearable heartache to the owners.
One dog owner who is in serious pain after losing her pet, is Amanda du-Pont. The talented actress and TV host, took to social media to open up about her loss. She lost her dog, Dior, a week ago and the pain still cuts deep.
“RIP to my baby Dior?We lost her last night? I am broken and have been crying all night. She had back pain two days ago and we took her to Bryanston Veterinary Hospital to be examined. If you love your pets PLEASE DO NOT take them there you will lose them with no solid explanation or communication. All they say is that she could have had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, but they aren’t sure,” Amanda painfully shared her story.
She describes her dog as the purest soul, tap dancing and picking up a toy in her mouth every time Amanda walked in the door. This is her second biggest loss in a short time after losing her grandmother in 2020.
“We don’t deserve the love and joy dogs bring into our lives. She loved anyone and everyone. RIP my baby Dior – Like Pop Smoke, you left us on a high like a legend! Last year was very tough, I lost my gran and my pup-I’m hurting,” she said.
