As society navigates the ”new normal” brought about by the pandemic, wearing face coverings or masks remains one of the most effective measures to slow its spread. However many people are still not conscious of the importance of the mask and its proper care for that matter.
This is why singer and songwriter Yemaa, real name Nompendulo Nsibande took to her Instagram account to remind all her fans and followers about the importance of wearing a clean mask. ”It is important to always remove your mask correctly and wash your hands after handling or touching a used mask. Use Dettol for soaking your mask to kill all germs, rinse thoroughly after wash, and air dry in the sun! Make sure to completely dry the mask before use.” She emphasized.
Good mask use is not only about protecting oneself but also about respecting and protecting others. Cleanliness is Godliness!
