It is Thursday again and our #Throwback of note is the legendary Brenda Fassie. We at Gcwala99 feel sorry for all the kids who are currently growing up without the sounds of MaBrrr. Her music united all races, ages and social classes, her voice is something that we need to hear right now. Having passed on almost fourteen years ago, the Queen of African Pop’s legend lives on with songs like ‘Vulindlela’, ‘Nomakanjani’, ‘Too Late for Mama’, ‘Soon and Very Soon, and our personal favorite, ‘Weekend Special’. Lol as soon as you heard ‘Weekend Special’, you knew it was time to turn up!
