While most festival-goers head straight to the main stage, a hidden world comes alive at the MTN Bushfire camping site and many Swazis are only just discovering its magic. This past Sunday the campsite turned into a chillas paradise. Now picture a lazy afternoon filled with the rich aroma of braais, traditional dishes, and drinks as cold as ice. Laughter echoed between tents as people from different tribes connected over food, dance and stories.

Camp attendance like Mpumi Mlambo, a South African Metro FM’s own radio host, casually set up her DJ gear and began spinning soulful beats, right from her tent. No fees. No stage. Just pure vibes, good music and her own drink in hand.

This was not just camping it was culture, unity and joy under the open sky. If you have never stayed at the Bushfire campsite, you are definitely missing the soul of the festival.
