SWAMAS 2020: The Nomination Process

The MTN SWAMA is an annual celebration of the best in Eswatini music, placing a spotlight on phenomenal bands and artists across a colorful genre spectrum. Last year’s ceremony at the Royal Swazi Convention Center marked the 3rd anniversary of the awards. As they head into their 4th year, the SWAMA will be moving online for the first time.

With 22 SWAMAs up for grabs in this year’s event, here’s a run-down of the process that will decide the shortlist of SWAMA nominees 2020!

HOW TO NOMINATE: – Send an SMS to 6161, Complete With The Artist’s Name And Category (One category per SMS) E1 per SMS. – Or You can Download the Ayoba App from Google Play or from App Store or for free on www.ayoba.me Add 76286161 as a contact to send your nomination via Ayoba. – Only material released between May 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020 will be considered. – Artists and fans are free to send nominations.
