Gospel singer Shekinah Motsa counts her blessings. The artist recently took to Instagram to share a heart-warming message to her mom, where she expressed appreciation for all the sacrifices her mom endured just to see her graduate and all the support she gave her.

“I can never thank you enough ma…The struggles you’ve been through just to see me succeed. Ngyabonga Phephetse” she said in some part of her lengthy letter.

2015 I quit my job because I wanted to go back to school, I applied for a scholarship but didn't get it. I remember when the list of students who were awarded the scholarship came out,I was so crashed as my name was not on the list. You came into my room and asked me what was wrong. I didn't want to tell you because I knew you would be sad, tears ran down my face because I really wanted to go to school. I told you I didn't get the scholarship. All you said to me was, " Do not worry ". Two days later you came to me carrying a brown envelope (Ngiyikhumbula kahle) and said hamba uyobhadala eskolweni… I asked where you got the money and you told me not to worry because YOU are the parent and I am the child, which means I am your responsibility. I got to learn that you actually took a loan so I can go to school… God being God, I appealed for the Government scholarship and I got it….I can never thank you enough ma. The struggles you've been through just too see me succeed. Ngiyabonga Phephetse

The love of a mother is priceless, it’s crystal clear what an amazing bond this duo shares. Shekinah has just graduated with a B.com degree in accounting and finance from UNESWA.
