Country Music Icon Isaac Gamedze has reportedly died. On Tuesday Eswatini woke up to the sad news about the singer Isaac Gamedze who is also songstress Zinia, real name Mbali Gamedze’s father.
According to reports, the legendary Country music artist suffered from pulmonary fibrosis. he died at the age of 54.
Isaac was one of the pioneers in Country music and one of the people who initiated the Country music Association and the Swazi Cowboy volume 1. Eswatini Country musicians are still in shock of his sudden demise and have nothing but good things to say about the fallen legend.
The Ramtutu hitmaker was an intelligent man and was always willing to help. He was working on an album and had so many promising ideas, unfortuntely “we have been robbed of an opportunity to explore Country music”.
What a loss! What a legend. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
