Pearl Thusi has seemingly become one of the most hated South African celebrities on twitter and it looks like she’s trending yet again. This time around she was getting dragged for not using her Zulu names.
Known to speak her mind, Pearl didn’t waste her time and decided to put the twitter roaches in their rightful place by saying that she finds it hilarious that they are so invested in her life.
‘’Those roaches on twitter are obsessed with me ‘’ she wrote.
She addressed the issue of why she doesn’t use her name by saying that ‘’my name is too personal, only my dad was allowed to use it’’. Pearl whose name is Xola and Sthe, revealed that the reason why she doesn’t use her Zulu names is because she doesn’t appreciate people mispronouncing them, and the names were reserved for special people in her life.
