The MTN Spotlight season 2’s finale inches closer, with only one episode away from crowning the next champion
Sunday’s MTN Spotlight show had beautiful performances with The Contestants giving out their best to the judges. The Top five were given a chance to perform before the eliminations began.
First up on stage was Thembumenzi Mkhonta who sang ” one plus one ” by Beyoncé and she was just amazing. ” there is not much I can say but only to wish you the best, Karly B said.
Naledi performed “Cinisela” and the judges loved it. ” I am so proud of you; you have really pulled yourself together. This is the best performance ever” Velemseni said.
Sihle, the only man standing on the show rendered “stare” by Rihanna and “Ngibambe la” by Mthunzi. The judges liked that he had improved and moved onto a better place in the competition.
Sethu performed “inkanyezi” by Mondli Ngcobo and also got the judges singing praises about how she had improved and had overcome her nerves.
Tselile closed the show on a very high note with her performance of “Fill my love” by Adele. She relayed a heart melting message to her daughter. ” the song reminds me of how much I love my daughter, I mean I could do anything for that baby girl. To all the unconditional lovers out there, this is for you, I hope u enjoy it” she said.
She blew the judges away as she was able to bring so much emotion into the song.
Unfortunately, five had to become three and that means two people had to leave the show and those are Thembumenzi and Naledi. Sihle, Tselile and Sethu are your Top Three Contestants.
