Sumthing Else is a collaborative house music project and production duo – consisting of Master Clap and D.R. They released their self-titled debut album on Friday with the lead single, What You Are, featuring Xoli M. Have you heard it yet?
Consisting of producer Sihle “Master Clap” Dlalisisa and producer-instrumentalist Mhlengi “D.R the Good Doctor” Mhlongo, Sumthing Else is a House duo poised to make their mark on the scene. Originally from Durban, the duo is currently signed to Kalawa Jazzmee.
The duo made their musical debut in 2020, with radio charting singles including Thatha and Nuz. They merge the house genre with influences ranging from different disciplines in music with an aim to bring their unique take on music with the release of their self-titled album.
