What a wonderful day it has been in Eswatini! The country came together to celebrate its first-ever Mr. and Miss Albinism at the charming Sibane Sami Hotel, coinciding with Albinism Awareness Day. The air was filled with excitement, laughter, and a spirit of unity as the community showed its support for this important cause.

The event featured an array of incredible talent, with contestants showcasing their singing, dancing, and poetry. Each performance was infused with passion and emotion, creating an uplifting atmosphere that left the audience cheering. It was a beautiful reminder of the resilience and creativity within the albinism community.

One standout was Lusanda Mazibuko, who had everyone in tears with her heartfelt rendition of a song about acceptance. “This day is not just for me; it’s for everyone with albinism who deserves to feel seen and valued,” she said, her voice strong yet filled with vulnerability. In a thrilling moment, Nkosinathi Makhanya was crowned Mr. Albinism Eswatini, while Lusanda proudly took the title of Miss Albinism Eswatini.
