DJ Sbu confirmed that he’s finally hanging up the radio headphones to focus on making music and his brand new online radio station, Homegrown.
This comes after he set a new world record for the longest radio broadcast on his online radio station, Massiv Metro. The broadcast lasted nine-days.
This earned him a Guinness World Record.
DJ Sbu sat down with Rian van Heerden and Philicity Reeken to talk about his radio career, a Guinness World Record and upcoming projects.
“I’m retiring from being behind the mic. There is now more mediums of broadcasting like social media and digital. I decided to launch an online radio station to train and nurture upcoming talent.”
