Beginning with a classical Amapiano progression, Amanumber Ayi 10, initially promises to be a mid-tempo single. Instrumentally, the track changes direction with the introduction of the rousing horns more popular with contemporary Amapiano dance music.
Cassper Nyovest opens the track with a whistle that sets the song into full throttle as he and featured guests detail courting a woman by asking for her phone number. At the climax of the song it descends to a kaleidoscope of instrumentation, sound effects mimicking smart devices and gimmicks common on dance-based amapiano singles.
